WWCo Studio

Privacy Policy

Last updated 25 August 2026. This policy covers wwcostudio.com only. The main Wellington Web Co site has its own policy at wellingtonwebco.com/privacy.

1. Who we are

This site is run by Wellington Web Co. Ltd, a company registered in Scotland, company number SC866805, based in Edinburgh. WWCo Studio is our software and app studio and is not a separate company.

For anything in this policy, contact contact@wellingtonwebco.com.

2. What this site collects

Very little. This is a brochure site with one form on it.

WhatWhenWhy
Your email addressOnly if you type it into the newsletter form and press SubscribeTo send you occasional updates when we ship something new
Whatever you write to usOnly if you email us using the address on the siteTo answer you
Anonymous usage dataOnly after you press Accept on the cookie bannerTo see which pages people read

There is no account system, no login, no checkout and no payment processing on this site. We do not ask for your name, phone number, address or anything else.

3. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages get read.

Nothing is stored until you accept. Analytics runs in a denied state by default using Google Consent Mode. If you press Decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is stored on your device.

If you press Accept, we store one small record of that choice so you are not asked again on every page, and analytics begins.

To change your mind, clear this site's cookies and site data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit.

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. That happens on every visit, before any consent, because the page cannot render without them. It does not set a cookie, but it does mean Google receives your IP address as part of that request.

4. Our lawful basis

5. Who else sees your data

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. It reaches these providers only because they run parts of this site:

These providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they operate under the transfer safeguards their own terms set out.

6. How long we keep it

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to it being used. You can also withdraw consent at any time. Email contact@wellingtonwebco.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.

8. Security and children

The site is served over HTTPS and carries a standard set of security headers. No site can promise perfect security, but we keep what we hold to a minimum, which is the most useful protection there is.

This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

9. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site rather than made quietly.
